Heart rate readings are measured with an infrared heart rate earlobe clip sensor, by holding the telemetric hand grips, or with optional wireless chest strap transmitter. Regular use of the Recovery feature will provide grading of one’s cardio wellness which can be highly motivating by showing improvement over time. The Ely 1 has a 20-inch stride length with 3 adjustable foot plate positions for varied elliptical motions. A Poly “V” drive belt used in the drive system eliminates chain noise, providing ultra quiet operation with no required lubrication.
