This all-purpose, compact and powerful rechargeable flashlight is designed for the broadest range of lighting needs at the best value. The combination of rechargeable batteries and the C4 LED results in one of the lowest operating costs of any flashlight made. An easy access multi-function On/Off head mounted push-button switch offers three microprocessor-controlled intensity modes, strobe mode, and the latest in power LED technology. The PolyStinger DS LED provides a second multi-function push-button tactical tail switch. Both switches offer full feature control independent of each other. Market applications include, but are not limited to, law enforcement, security, fire and rescue, automotive, and more. Designed for an extremely long life, the PolyStinger DS LED Rechargeable flashlight has been tested at 1 million actuations.
Bright and Powerful LED
The PolyStinger DS LED flashlight features a powerful LED that provides bright, long-lasting light. An LED is ideal for lights that are used often and over an extended period of time. The C4 LED is impervious to shock and has a 50,000-hour lifetime. With optimized electronics that provide regulated intensity, C4 technology provides powerful illumination. Its specially engineered deep-dish parabolic reflector produces a tight beam with optimum peripheral illumination.
Three Light Modes and Strobe
Streamlight’s PolyStinger DS LED flashlight provides three lighting modes and a strobe:
- High for a bright super-bright beam, featuring 26,000 candela peak beam intensity, 385 lumens and a run time of 2 hours
- Medium for bright light and longer run times, featuring 13,000 candela peak beam intensity, 195 lumens and a run time of 3.75 hours
- Low for when a less intense beam is needed and for extended run times, featuring 6,500 candela peak beam intensity, 95 lumens and a run time of 7.25 hours
- Strobe runs 5.5 hours.
Built to Last
Durably constructed for use in extreme conditions, the PolyStinger DS LED flashlight is crafted from a super-tough, non-conductive nylon polymer with non-slip rubberized comfort grip and features an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with scratch-resistant coating and an O-ring seal. It is IPX4 rated for water-resistant operation and 3-meter impact resistance tested.

Weighing 11.9 ounces, the PolyStinger DS LED flashlight is 8.64 inches in length with a body diameter of 1.21 inches.
Battery and Charging
The PolyStinger DS LED features a rechargeable three-cell, 3.6-volt sub-C nickel-cadmium battery (included with purchase) which can be recharged up to 1,000 times. The compact snap-in charger has an LED charge-continuity indicator on its base and mounts in any position. It will steady charge in 10 hours, or in 2.5 hours on an optional fast, or PiggyBack, charger.
