It’s ultra-compact — just 4.6 ounces — but it’s as bright as lights 5 times its size, thanks to an innovative lithium ion rechargeable battery and 3.6-volt, 6-watt xenon gas filled bi-pin bulb. Featuring up to 8700 candela peak beam intensity and 187-meter beam distance when focused to spot and 85 lumens system output, this flashlight also offers an adjustable focus beam.
Built to Last
Its case is made of machined aircraft aluminum with an anodized finish, and it has a gasket sealed lens featuring Borafloat high temperature glass. Other features include an on/off push button tail-cap and a run time of up to 70 minutes continuous use between charges to 10-percent of initial lumen output level. The Strion measures 5.3 inches in length, with a 1.25-inch head diameter, 0.95-inch barrel diameter, and weighs 4.6 ounces with battery.
Battery and Charging
Rechargeable up to 1,000 times on a 120-volt AC/12-volt DC charger, the clamp-style charger holder with digital control circuit prevents over charge. LED indicates charge status: LED Steady – Charging; LED Blinking – Charged. Compact, snap-in charger mounts in any position and fully recharges in 2.5 hours.
